Blue Springs State Park is a Alabama state park located east of Clio. The centerpiece of the park is a clear blue underground-fed spring in which visitors can swim. ==Activities and Amenities== *Swimming: The natural spring for which the park is named has a sandy bottom, pumps of water per minute and stays at a constant temperature of . Swimming (without lifeguards) is permitted. *Camping: The park has both modern and primitive campsites and also offers rental campers. *Fishing: A small pond is stocked with catfish and bream. *Picnicking: The park offers picnic tables and grills and has four pavilions for rental. *Playground: The park constructed a "Green" Playground in 2014 made from 100% Recycled Materials.
